Inflight at approximately 35,000 feet a grown woman rings her flight attendant call button to ask “Excuse me miss, are we moving right now”?
*head explodes*
I hate the general public, they are dumb as rocks.
Hey, whats that town down there? and that mountain? OH and that water… what is that?
I would have told her that both engines had failed, and we would be delayed until another plane arrived to take them the rest of the way.
Amazing… I’m dumbfounded how some of these people get out of the house and get to the airport in the first place!
We held a plane for half an hour waiting for a passenger who had checked in, checked a bag, cleared security but never boarded the plane. (The option to trying to locate the pax would have been to offload all the pax and the luggage to take off the bag that was checked, which would have been a longer delay). After all the contact numbers were called, the airport agents finally located her; she had gone home because – I am not making this up – she forgot her baby…
{Tug truck broke, couldn’t push back from gate} Captain makes an annoucement aplogizing for the delay while they got a new, not being used Tug truck. An ignorant lady in economy pushes her button and proceeds to tell me “I guess this means the Captain isn’t qualified enough to back up the plane on his own. Is he new?” After chuckles from several passengers sitting around her I had to turn around and walk away. I hope someone explained the logistics to her eventually…
