What Will The Maid Think??

If you don’t already know Bert Kreischer, you should. He is a hysterical comedian that you can hear on podcasts such as The Joe Rogan Experience (fucking comedy gold!), see on The Rachel Ray Show, or you may know him as “Bert the Conqueror” from The Travel Channel. This busy bastard also travels the country doing stand up comedy, so look for the guy and go see his stand-up – it’s the shit.

UPDATE!! You can now find Bert on his fun new Travel Channel show Trip Flip, aaaand he FINALLY has his very own Podcast Bertcast!

Anyway, as a result of all of Bert’s travels he created a “hashtag” on Twitter called “#whatwillthemaidthink”. IT IS FUCKING AMAZING! The premise is to use only the items available in your hotel room (along with contents of your luggage, if needed) to create a scene that would leave the room in a semi-disturbing manner. You leave the following morning, the maid walks in and… BAM — “I wonder what the maid will think”?

Needless to say this is the perfect overnight activity for stews, pilots and frequent fliers alike. Get creative, and of course don’t be an asshole by destroying anything. I would also consider leaving a generous tip if you get crazy up in that bitch!

Here are a few examples from Bert’s Twitter genius #whatwillthemaidthink:

(my personal fave — “HELP”)

This bathtub is MY very own #whatwillthemaidthink. It is my only one thus far, but I am very proud of it:

So here’s the deal, we want to see YOUR #whatwillthemaidthink creations! Tweet the shit out of them, RT, and don’t forget to use the hashtag! If you don’t have twitter feel free to email your creations to me at: sassy@rantsofasassystew and I will get them forwarded, giving you the credit of course!

Also a little info on his upcoming documentary. “Bert Kreischer: On The Road” is a feature length documentary that will follow popular stand-up comedian and TV personality, Bert Kreischer. In 1997 Rolling Stone magazine called Bert the #1 party animal in the nation.  From that point, unbelievably, his life got even crazier.  He had the rights to his life story optioned by Oliver Stone, moved to New York to pursue a stand up career and was discovered by Will Smith, wrestled a bear, fought a bull, was a dominatrix gimp, and robbed a train with the Russian Mafia.  He is currently the star of two TV shows including the hit Travel Channel show, “Bert The Conqueror,” and has appeared on David Letterman, Rachael Ray, Good Morning America and DIY’s Man Caves.

From the first time we met Bert we were hooked.  He’s funny, crazy and one of the greatest storytellers we’ve ever encountered.  The most amazing thing was that all of his stories were true!  We knew that if we had the opportunity and access to follow him on his comedy tour, he would make for a great, entertaining subject for a documentary.  And quite frankly, we knew that wherever Bert Kreischer was, crazy s#!% would  happen and we wanted to be there to film it.”
